Winter Bike to Work Day
Registration is now open for GO Boulder/City of Boulder's second annual Winter Bike to Work Day happening on January 20. Cyclists commuting on Winter Bike to Work Day will be rewarded with breakfast and hot chocolate stops at six locations and prizes for participants, all supplied by event sponsors.

Carriage House Community Table Seeks Wardrobe Hangers The Carriage House is a homeless day shelter in Downtown Boulder. In addition to food and shelter, The Carriage House supplies clients with business professional clothing for job interviews. They are seeking commercial wardrobe hangers, bookcases (for shoes), etc. to help organize clothing for clients. Thank you for your donations!

SPOTLIGHT ON ...

Fashion Under The Flatirons
March 11, 7:30 p.m.
Boulder Theater

A night filled with fun and style highlighted with a fact paced, energetic fashion show – Fashion Under the Flatirons is an event not to be missed.

In its inaugural year, Downtown Boulder's Fashion Under the Flatirons will incorporate a runway fashion show emceed by World Cup Freestyle Ski Champion Jeremy Bloom, beauty stations, silent auction, food and drinks all featuring local Downtown Boulder businesses.

A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit Impact on Education, a local non-profit organization focused on raising support for public education. Approximately 25 – 30 Downtown Boulder merchants will showcase outfits, jewelry and accessories, not to mention hair and makeup.

VIP tickets give attendees the opportunity to get in early, have a martini and a manicure, be the first to bid on the silent auction, enjoy the show from runway side seats and go home with a fabulous goodie bag.

Tickets go on sale January 9, 2010 at bouldertheater.com or at the Boulder Theater Box Office.
